£10.50 per hour
Temporary to Permanent

Our client based in Wakefield are currently looking for a Security Officer to join their dynamic and forward-thinking guarding team. We have an opportunity available for a temporary to permanent security officer role in the Wakefield area. Interested candidates must have a valid SIA licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of people, premises, and property of our clients
- Act as a point of contact between the company and client
- Deliver a high standard of customer focused, professional security
- Conduct patrols and inspections of premises
- Cover gatehouse, reception & lock/unlock duties
- Assist staff and visitors to site
- Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to
- Ensure no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas
- Maintain accurate incident reports using our software
- Any other reasonable associated tasks as required
Core Qualities and Attributes
- Valid SIA Licence or SIA training certificate
- Computer systems knowledge & tele/switchboard skills
- Full work or education history for the last 5 years
- Clear communication & administration skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport is essential for this role
