Multitask Recruitment Solutions are looking for a Recycling Operative (with an FLT license) for our client based at Blackrod.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using FLT with counterbalance and also manual handling (experience in using an FLT is not essential as training can be given).
- Assist with the recycling of materials and segregation of waste streams.
- Sorting, bulking, and organisation of stock within the operational area.
- Collection of documentation associated with deliveries and ensuring correct.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all areas.
- Liaison with external bodies such as customers who visit the site.
- Ensuring paperwork such as delivery notes are kept in an orderly manner.
- To report any areas of concern (such as safety/environmental) to the shift supervisor and/or management.
- Report any dangerous occurrences such as unsafe practices/near misses/breach of procedures/company policy.
Schedule and Pay:
- The hourly rate is £9.21 per hour.
- The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm.
