Job Title: Frome foyer manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (with occasional unsocial hours i.e. evenings, bank holidays and week-ends). The Accommodation and Support Manager will be part of the Duty Manager rota system as and when required for which time of in lieu is offered.

Contract Type: Maternity cover to start in August 2022

What does the job entail?

You will have the leading role in managing the operation of the Frome and the Mendip East area in providing lively, engaging and quality accommodation and support services for young people.

The successful candidate will lead the staff team in the Frome and Mendip East area providing the accommodation and support service. They will lead on development of services within the Frome and Mendip East area for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Another task will be to create and maintain a unified and collaborative relationship with the local community in Frome and Mendip East area.

What skills will the successful candidate need?

A recognised qualification in Housing and/or Social Care or a relevant subject.

The organisation will consider those who may not have achieved the above but are able to demonstrate competence to a high standard in these areas in terms of working knowledge and abilities.
