ESG Manager – Capital Markets – London

You will utilise speed, collaboration, and imaginative thinking to help clients build a climate transition strategy by using non-financial and climate reporting, you will help clients to transform sustainably, ensure their evolution to Net Zero is fair and rewarding.

Working with a list of prominent and distinguished clients ranging across a number of key industries, you will engage with people at a senior and strategic levels, as well as other 3rd party advisers on a series of fascinating projects, getting involved in all the types of work that the business delivers within the ESG framework.

In this role as an ESG – Capital Markets, Accounting Advisory & Structuring – Manager you will deepen your existing commercial and technical knowledge of the sector. This will include guiding clients through deals, appraising and reporting on their businesses and plans, while helping them prepare important financial and non-financial ESG information that they need to complete their deals or to improve their ESG reporting procedures. This will require you to demonstrate a range of practical, financial, commercial and advisory skills.

Ideally as the successful candidate you will be a Qualified Accountant, have a strong knowledge of ESG with experience in ESG reporting advisory engagements e.g. TCFD and/or other related fields. Your understanding of the value drivers within ESG will include how to conduct client-specific reporting maturity assessments.

Your track record in Audit, advisory or hands on ESG risk management experience will allow you to demonstrate an a ability to analyse large amounts of data, summarise and interpret data to solve problems.
