Production Co-Ordinator

We’re looking for a fun and friendly outgoing person who has some experience in the film/tv world, is great with people, confident on the phone and able to work to their own initiative.

We are after someone we can invest in, and progress within our company, so the individual must be passionate about working on a full time, hybrid basis rather than as a freelancer. We need someone who is able to multi task and confidently working across multiple projects by being highly organised with attention to detail.

Essentially we need someone who likes film, enjoys organisation and administration, and is keen to learn a bit of editing, producing and camera work along the way.

  • Film degree/film school/proven of experience in the television/film industry 
  • Admin experience
  • Experience with Prompt and handling kit/equipment 
  • Experience in setting up shoots and all the necessary production compliances required including call sheets, risk assessments, release forms, PPL/PRS experience, location permissions.
  • Skilled with working on contracts with freelancers, understanding location shoot implications and negotiating with suppliers
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assist team with all administration needs both office and on shoots as required.
  • Manage and grow our library of assets. (Skills needed background in TV/DTSkills/researching/film logging skills/editing & logging software)
  • Once a job is completed, the finished product will be stored on the server and it will be up to the Production Assistant to back this up to a hard drive and discuss with client as to how long it needs to be stored for and log when it can be deleted, unless client pays for continued storage. (Sifting through footage to also label and record footage that can be re-purposed/ Skills required are working on re-versions/archive footage)
  • Liaise with clients as to how they would like their footage stored.
  • Back catalogue of films.
  • Assist with studio equipment management.
  • Log all equipment and manage maintenance.
  • Assist on all film shoots. Act as a runner when needed.
  • To learn and train on all equipment to support the team as needed as a junior support role.
  • Management of team awards.
  • Finances recorded weekly and monthly.
  • Monthly Recharges document to be updated after every project.
  • Every supplier set up with contracts and all their details logged and stored on the Global Freelance Pool which the Production Assistant is also to manage and grow.
  • Regarding managing of Freelance Pool, this will require continued research into major cities and talent available and identified. (TV background essential to understand the industry/job roles/skillsets/what makes a good/bad showreel/edit etc)
  • Proof checking/assistance with edits/subtitling/fact checking/basic edit/GFX mistakes.
  • Small junior producing jobs/amends/re-versions/operating autocue/labelling/helping with production project management/experience in copywriting and inputting into Asana/Wrike/Managing bookings.
  • Creating and working on Carnets.
