Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality and wholesome dishes cooked at the highest quality and standards
- Tailor seasonal menus around residents and to ensure we deliver person centred hospitality
- Work within budget and manage stock control
- Lead, motivate, inspire and develop a team, including training and inducting team members
- Maintain excellent communication with the clinical team regarding changes to resident’s nutritional needs
- Complete regular audits, including spot checks
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and regulations in kitchen and stores
About you:
- Experience of comparable Sous Chef or Head Chef experience
- Experience of team leadership, training and development, recruitment, rotas, health and safety, finance and P&Ls, ordering, costings and other general systems
- Knowledge of nutritional needs of older people
- Health and Safety and regulatory requirements
- A positive and flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work in a team
- Understanding of EHO regulations
