Commissioning Lead MEICA Systems

Location: Vauxhall, London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a MIECA Commissioning Lead to join our major infrastructure division on Thames Tideway in London. Working in the MEICA team to help deliver MEICA works for the project. This includes a large variety with LV distribution, UPS, Telemetry and control systems. You will Lead the Commissioning activities onsite delivery and provide co-ordination between specialist subcontractor’s commissioning teams, and the Client commissioning teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all necessary Commissioning documentation is produced in a timely manner such as test plans, ITPs, test record documentation and non-conformances for all the commissioning activities and following them through to the worksites for testing.
  • Working with the Commissioning manager to manage the worksite testing and ensuring the activities are completed and documented in accordance with the approved test plans and ITPs as per the Works information.
  • Delivery of on-site commissioning of mechanical, electrical, control systems and automated processes.
  • Chair commissioning meetings, meetings with the Subcontractors and their commissioning team and client commissioning teams ensuring that standards and H&S expectations are met.
  • Be responsible for the health and safety compliance of the commissioning activities undertaken on site. Managing commissioning activities in line with the Programme. Maintaining excellent Health and Safety behaviours on site.
  • Arranging and coordinating Client witnessing for completed work against the approved ITP and test plan.
  • Reviewing and signing off commissioning RAMs and commissioning ITPs.
  • Coordinating the commissioning team to ensure all commissioning activities are carried out
  • Lead and record Worksite readiness reviews in advance of commencing commissioning activities on site.

Your Experience

Experience of mechanical and/or electrical commissioning on clean water or wastewater process including the documentation authoring and client liaising. Experience of the certification process and close out. Proven commissioning experience and knowledge on the following topics; Electrical distribution systems, Mechanical systems, Profibus systems, PLC systems, UPS and battery systems.
