Job summary
Come and join the AWS Commerce Platform team as a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Conductor team and you will own defining and delivering programs that shape the AWS end-to-end billing workflows from measuring usage to delivering invoices.

The AWS Commerce Platform provides the back and front-end services that enable AWS customers to purchase AWS services and understand and manage their infrastructure costs.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be owning, defining and delivering programs that shape the end-to-end workflows and expose insight of their executions.

You will manage large international programs with cross-organizational impact that require you to be a collaborative and curious self-starter. You will collaborate in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, whilst contributing to innovative solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify requirements across Billing teams, develop tools and processes to improve organization efficiency, and work with engineering managers and program owners to incorporate them into project development.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and make tradeoffs; encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit; identify inter-dependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems.
  • Gain consensus on technical decisions, and ensure that appropriate software engineering practices are employed to deliver high quality results
  • Own and drive the Billing program plans including success metrics and addressing customer concerns.
  • Working closely with internal customers.
