Job Description

The lead Control Room Analyst will work for the Global Control Room for SVB Enterprise. The Control Room is responsible for controlling and managing the flow of material, nonpublic information (“MNPI”) by maintaining SVB’s informational barrier between public-side and private-side businesses as well as managing all actual and perceived conflicts of interest.

The role is extremely detail focused and will be responsible to monitor personal trading and testing/surveillance associated with Investment Banking, Research, Sales and Trading and Corporate Banking. There is an opportunity for growth with this position.

The candidate must be able to handle with discretion highly sensitive and nonpublic information. This individual must be able to work independently and interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner. This individual will be responsible for working with Global Head of Control Room to conduct and enforce an organized and efficient surveillance process that focuses on the areas enumerated below in attempt to prevent and detect insider trading.

– Prevent Insider Trading

– Monitor employee personal trading

– Maintain employee personal trading platform related to employee information , including broker accounts, private investments, outside business activities and affiliations, and political contributions

– Conduct regular reporting of employee activities and insider trading

– Conduct surveillance and testing development and implementation for Research, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Information Barriers, Trade Restrictions, Conflicts of Interest

– Develops and conducts Compliance training programs across the firm

– Identifies and remedying emerging compliance risks

– Responds to compliance- related audit examinations, regulatory requests, and internal investigations to compliance-related audit examinations, regulatory requests, and internal investigations.
