Role

Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in South Wales are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer working on a contract basis.

Job Purpose

  • Process Development: Responsible to produce detailed process operation sheets, including visual aids to ensure standard manufacturing process.
  • Facilities / Layout: Liaise with Facilities and Production to determine efficient processes/station layouts
  • Process Control: Able to develop PFMEAs and Controls
  • Tooling: Select appropriate tools, jigs and fixtures to meet vehicle, quality targets, whilst ensuring operator safety targets are achieved.
  • Production Support: Investigate and resolve Manufacturing Engineering related build issues, providing timely containments to ensure that product quality is not compromised, investigating root cause and countermeasure implementation.
