This opportunity may well appeal to candidates who wish to experience working in a school environment with a view to pursuing a career in education or to candidates who already have QTS but are looking for a change of direction. Coaches who decide to embark on this route will be supported in their applications for PGCE and Schools Direct training courses. 

The hours of work are 37 per week, 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday on a term time only contract, and will be paid for 47.15 weeks per year.

The salary is LGA Scale 5 Point 12 -17 currently £22, – £24, full time equivalent. The pro rata salary range is £20,-£22, per annum. The actual starting salary for the successful candidates will be £20, per annum.
