Transport Planner (Development)
My Client are a Family run firm based just outside of Leeds City Centre who specialise within Transport and Transport Planning. They work with a number of Regional and National Clients, such as major Housing groups, Planners and Architects.
Due to sustained growth and successfully winning a number of new contracts with new clients, they are looking to increase their team. They need a strong Transport Planner or someone ready to step up into a Senior Transport Planning role to help drive the business forward.
The role will involve the writing of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Sustainability Appraisals and carrying out traffic modelling. It is desirable that you will be fully conversant with S278 and S38 and be comfortable with using CAD.
This role would suit someone looking to get out of the larger corporate structure wanting an opportunity to be in a very open culture with more flexibility to get involved with different work streams and have direct contact with clients. The workload is varied and a number of the Directors specialise in different areas, so you will be able to learn and progress very quickly.
