London, Bristol OR Manchester (Hybrid – 1/2 day per week in the Office)
Day rates: £600-£650 per day

Concept Resourcing are looking for Senior User Researcher to join a Central Government client based in London/Bristol OR Manchester.
This is an initial 6 month contract with a possible extension. The role is INSIDE IR35. Day rates between £600-£650 per day, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate must have the following experience;
Previous Central Government or Public Sector experience would be desirable.
Previous experience and knowledge of GDS and GDS standards/assessments.
Good at managing relationship with stakeholders and persuade sceptical colleagues
Lead on research strategies
Good at involving the teams and stakeholders throughout the research process – using ‘user research as a team sport’ approach
Experience of advocating for user research and engaging colleagues and stakeholders
Experience of helping teams and organisation to adopt user centred service design and delivery practices and embed them into their agile workflow
The ability to understand the complex problems a team and the business is trying to solve, and align user research activities to inform decision making and action
Experience of helping teams and organisations adopt a wide range of user research methods, analysis and synthesis techniques and approaches to presenting and sharing findings
Proven experience of introducing new 4 user research methods into a team, and guiding colleagues in the choice and effective application of research methods
The ability to include all kinds of users in appropriate research activities to help teams understand the diversity of users of government services
A good understanding of the social and technological context for government services, and experience of aligning user research activities to help teams understand changing user behaviour
Other experience/knowledge:
Qualitative and quantitative data analysis, statistical analysis, benchmarking research, top tasks, working across multiple research projects, experienced in discovery research, interviews, field research, observation research, diary studies, survey, usability testing, comparative studies, desk research, contextual enquiries
