Our client is a Housing Association and are seeking a Planned Maintenance Programme Co-ordinator to join them for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with Housing Maintenance or Tenant Liaison experience. You will play a significant role in the delivery of a programme of works to replace or improve kitchens, bathrooms, heating systems, windows, and roofing.

As the Programme Co-ordinator you will visit the housing stock to inspect, assess and record all information necessary to produce tender documentation for a range of programmed works. At this stage you will have the responsibility to liaise with individual tenants and staff regarding tenant’s choice and impact on tenants during works.

It’s expected that you will be able to produce contract documentation such as drawings and basic survey specifications, CDM information etc, this information will help colleagues produce and issue tenders.

You will be required to keep an accurate record of the planned programme of works and any variations, in addition you will assist with the prioritisation of works including seasonal programming. The post could also involve the provision of assistance to existing staff with the on-site supervision of contractors and the inspection and certification of completed works.

The role will be suited to an organised individual with a sound technical background and knowledge of construction which can be applied to these areas of activity. A background in Housing and Housing Maintenance will also be appreciated by our client, also the successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

The role will involve some driving so a valid licence is required. The post is based in Glasgow but currently the position is a working from home role and in future a hybrid style of working will be available to the successful candidate.
