Senior Quality Engineer responsibilities include –

  • Provide leadership to various Technicians.
  • Manage customer containment activities at customer sites, to help minimise costs.
  • Complete customer 8D reports and corrective action plans.
  • Customer interaction during conference calls and site visits.
  • Liaise with colleague to help drive CI and improve on scrap reduction etc.
  • Support plant process reviews and deals with supplier-related concerns.
  • Implement the relevant quality process and awareness training.
  • Maintain the QMS and monitor KPIs.

    • Senior Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience –

  • Experience working within a fast-moving manufacturing environment (Automotive etc)
  • Tool knowledge such as PPAP, 8D, 5Y, Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC.
  • An appreciation for Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100.
  • Mechanical engineering degree (HNC/HND), or other relevant engineering training.
