Behaviour Mentor required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a Key Stage 4 child that no longer attends mainstream education. This bustling Alternative Provision are looking for a specialist Behaviour Mentor to provide classroom based support to a child who has faced significant barriers to education. A calm and empathetic individual is required for this role, and you must have previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviours.

You will be joining a dynamic and dedicated team who are passionate about supporting students with additional needs. Good classroom management skills are a must, and you have to be able to demonstrate patience and resilience. This role is perfect for a Behaviour Mentor who is looking for an exciting new challenge!

Job Role:

  • Supporting students within an AP setting
  • Providing additional support for Teaching staff
  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group intervention support
  • Breaking down barriers to education, and helping learners to reengage with lessons
