About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for a ODP / Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the outskirts of Ashford ,Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recovery Nurse / Theatre Practitioner to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding hospital north of Watford. The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including fast-track access to X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound. They pride themselves on their latest technology and safe and infection free work environment. The hospital has recently invested into the latest facilities and services and now offers a full range of surgical procedures and treatments. This scrub role also offers great responsibility opportunities as the theatre is rapidly growing!

About the role:

You will be within Recovery as part of our Theatre team and will be responsible for:

Delivering the highest quality of care to patients

Being Enthusiastic and empathetic working well as part of a supportive team, across a variety of specialisms

Plan, delivery and evaluate care to meet patient’s health and wellbeing, keeping within policies and procedures inline for the highest quality clinic outcomes

Effective verbal and written commination with patients and colleagues, with customer service standards front of mind

Able to make judgements involving complex facts or situations

Sound computer skills using MS Office, outlook and teams.

Work well independently and communicate to team effectively

Who we’re looking for;

Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions

Eligibility to live and work in the UK

Experience in clinical hospital settings

At least 4 years working within Recovery

Advanced Life Support desirable- or willingness to undertake

Capabilities in 12 lead ECG, Cannulation, cell salvage, catheterisation, surgical assistance
