Duties

  • Creation and maintenance of desktop build and associated packaging (build specialist)
  • working as a project team member within designated IT project teams
  • input into high level project planning
  • identification of tasks needed to meet overall team and project goals
  • solution design and documentation in line with IT Architectural principles and standards
  • execution of tasks to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and to the required quality
  • lead project work packages
  • communication of project progress to overall Project Managers, team members and IT Managers
  • Transition of IT services into operations

    • Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • SCCM application packaging
  • Desktop build and deployment specialist
  • Demonstrable experience leading desktop deployments
  • Demonstrably customer service focussed
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of delivering Technical and / or Business Application projects
  • A broad range of IT skills and strong IT flair coupled with an aptitude for learning and being adaptable to change
  • Detailed technical experience with a broad range of technologies including all Microsoft server, Cloud Technologies, Mobility and Microsoft desktop products
  • An understanding of the ITIL framework and how project delivery fits within service management
