ICON is recruiting for a professional project-minded individual, who will be working as part of our busy Operations Team, based in our office in Reading, on a hybrid working basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional, to gain new responsibilities in a range of process driven activities, become commercially focused and be a key player within the department.

The Resource & Planning Manager key duties include:

  • Recognize the importance of process improvement, with a focus on streamlining processes whilst adding value and meeting client needs.
  • Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.
  • To provide an accurate and thorough review of RFPs – detailing timelines, deliverables, potential needs and critical issues associated with a project.
  • Developing project and/or program staffing plans that address the study requirements
  • Oversee the activity of the Project Planning Analysts.
  • To partner effectively with senior management, Business Development and other necessary departments, in order to facilitate proposal development, change order adjustments and timely response to client requests.
  • To assist with the preparation of ClinOps staff members for Business Development and/or client related meetings, as needed.
  • To communicate appropriately and effectively with clients, vendors and/or ICON colleagues.
  • To be considered for the Resource & Planning Manager position, you must have:

  • Prior experience and knowledge of Resourcing Processes (either from a CRO or agency background).
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills.
  • Project Management experience a plus.
  • Background Degree in Pharma is beneficial but not essential.
