Specialist Practice Nurse – Band 6

Full time, permanent role

Brooklands Hospital are looking to appoint a Specialist Practice Nurse to work along side a wide multidisciplinary team responsible for the delivery of primary health care needs to patients with a Learning disability and/or autism.

Making best use of clinical skills and enabling the development of a wide range of specialist clinics/services to best address the health needs of the inpatient service users. The post holder will take the lead and develop primary nursing services within the area of Learning Disability and provide appropriate primary care nursing service users at the Marston Green Site, including treatment, screening and advice within their professional capabilities and in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct.

Essential criteria

  • Must be a first level registered nurse RNLD/RNMH/RGN
  • Must hold current registration with the NMC.
  • Significant post registration experience
