Job Responsibilities

  • Managing and resolving issues with the organisations’ DevOps environment;
  • Designing the full CI/CD pipeline and associated processes (e.g. git branching strategy)
  • Documenting the proposed approach and reviewing that documentation with necessary stakeholders
  • Documentation of user guides & processes
  • Migration to the designed solution, providing training & support for developers
  • Integration with operational tools & processes
  • Integration with collaboration & workflow tools

Skillset Required;

  • Strong experience of effective business solution delivery usingtheDevOpstoolset, including:
    • Strong Azure DevOps culture, with knowledge of good practices and patterns, and understanding of how code can be delivered rapidly and securely in a modern environment
    • Good understanding of Azure technology, including IaaS & PaaS services, virtual networks, availability zones and regions, etc
    • Terraform for infrastructure as code
    • Experience of MS Dyanmics 365 is highly desirable.
    • Able to identify issues, analyse implications, consider options and evaluate risks
    • Manage the Automation Engineering Team services, ensuring that delivery meets expectations and service levels are maintained
  • Directly responsible for the health and operation of CI/CD tools and platforms
  • Approachable & collobarotive working style
  • Organised and methodical, be able to prioritise multiple projects and work to deadlines

Salary/Benefits;

  • £70,000 – £80,000 per annum + additional benefits.
  • The role is hybrid between a Nottingham site and WFH.
