A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner / Nurse to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The service is ideally situated within easy reach of public transport links, local shops and amenities. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner / Nurse to join their friendly theatre team. The team put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner / Nurse to join them. The service provides comprehensive diagnostic services and a variety of surgical procedures. The hospital has 5 operating theatres, including three laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic surgery

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as part of the theatre team and will be responsible for:

  • Preparing the operating theatre/ anaesthetic room for surgery
  • Preparing instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures
  • Ensure the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate rate
  • Perform anaesthetic duties
  • Ensure waste is kept to a minimum

  • Valid NMC / HCPC registration – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
  • Previous experience in a similar setting
  • Strong communication skills
