Background

The University is embarking on an exciting period of updating the way it delivers professional services and developing new systems, tools and ways of working that support both our staff and the University to thrive.

The Change and Programme Management Office (CPMO) is a new function established to help manage and coordinate the key transformation programmes that are helping the University to deliver its academic mission and make a positive contribution to society. It will support the new Change and Programme Management Board (CPM Board) and work closely with the programme teams, professional services staff and key stakeholders to help the University adapt and thrive in the future.

The Reimagining Professional Services (RPS) project is an important part of this ambitious programme.

The RPS programme team will work with Schools, institutions and individual members of staff across the University to achieve the following aims:

*Simplify and modernise our policies and processes

*Streamline decision-making and get things done more quickly

*Build a stronger sense of community and shared purpose

*Encourage innovation

*Create more opportunities for professional services staff to develop their careers

*Make better use of our resources to help the University remain financially sustainable in the future

The role

As the RPS Programme Lead, you will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the programme, as well as day-to-day programme management. In addition, you will be required to ensure that activities RPS activities are aligned with work taking place as part of other change initiatives.
