A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Endoscopy Nurse to join a highly reputable and leading private hospital based in Manchester. The role is working within a friendly and driven endoscopy team who are looking for a like minded Endoscopy Nurse to join them. The hospital has a reputation of providing high quality care and has been recently awarded an “OUTSTANDING” CQC rating. This is a great position for a driven Endoscopy Nurse to work within a supportive team in a hospital that boasts excellent facilities. The hospital offers a range of specialist treatments including paediatric care and critical care.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Endoscopy Nurse within the outpatient team and will be responsible for the following;
Conducting pre-assessments
Admitting patients to the endoscopy unit
Assisting consultants and discharging patients from the unit
Participating in all endoscopy procedures and scrub for some minor surgeries
Providing excellent patient care
Who we’re looking for
Be NMC registered RGN – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Minimum of 2 years endoscopy experience in UK
Have BLS and ideally ALS
Knowledge of Joint Advisory Group (JAG) and CQC standards
Able to showcase excellent patient care
