Medacs Healthcare is seeking nurses experienced in administering chemotherapy for a fantastic opportunity in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing the highest quality of care and will assist in the management and provision for Oncology patients in a day chemotherapy centre.

Duties include:

  • Assisting in delivery of care to meet individual health and wellbeing needs throughout the treatment pathway including administration of chemotherapy
  • Assessing patient health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
  • Delivery best practice in health and safety and security
  • Contribution to improvement within cancer services and promotion of quality, diversity and rights

    • Essential criteria:

  • Must be a qualified nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Previously experience in administering chemotherapy
  • Venepuncture and cannulation experience, as well as CVAD experience
  • Ability to work in nurse led environment with minimal supervision
