• Support the Manager and Head of Internal Audit in developing the new IA function and strategy
  • Lead and deliver audits across the business including cross functional audits
  • Innovate to design and deliver strategic and operational risk based audit plans;
  • Utilise data analytics and artificial intelligence in the execution of Internal Audit field work to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the function;
  • Engage, influence and build relationships with management and senior executives;
  • Liaise with the selected co-source firm to ensure timely and high-quality audit delivery
  • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly Audit Committee pack

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIA/ICAS/IRM
  • Working knowledge of Internal Audit and methodology as well as enterprise risk management
  • Ability to work in an agile manner to respond to business risks and an evolving audit plan;
  • Prior experience of auditing a number of key areas such as Finance, Payroll, HR, Business Shared Service Centres, Whistle-Blowing, procurement and post-acquisition reviews.;
  • Ability to engage and influence operational staff, management and executives
  • Innovative attitude to improve the audit function
  • Strong report writing skills to ensure clear communication with the board

Salary: £45,000-£55,000(depending on experience, there may be some flexibility)

Car Allowance: £5,850

Travel: circa 30% across the UK, Ireland and potentially Europe

Contract: Remote with 1 day in office (Travel to the office is paid for)
