As a Deputy Charge Nurse you will join the team in this busy medical high dependency unit at University Hospital Crosshouse.

You will support the Senior Charge Nurse to lead the delivery of high dependency care in the clinical setting and deputise for the Senior Charge Nurse in her absence.

Demonstrating evidence based practice and strong professional behaviours, you will be a positive role model with in 4F team. 

You must be able to demonstrate their ability to support the Senior Charge Nurse in meeting the clinical, corporate and staff governance standards. You will also be able to act as a resource within the specialty, supporting others with the clinical and organisational decision making.

Knowledge of or previous experience of quality improvement initiatives would be beneficial.

You should be educated to degree level, preferably with a recognised qualification in the field of high dependency nursing and must have current relevant experience in the specialty. You will be a Level 1 Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

This is a fixed term / secondment opportunity for 12 months.
