Restore has an exciting new opportunity in a growing team for a Senior Application Support Analyst. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will be required to undergo security clearance to SC level
In this role, you will be working within the Digital Application Support Team, you will be responsible for managing the resolution of application issues that arise for internal and external clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deputise for Application support lead when needed
Ensure efficient resolution at a high standard of tickets within the Application Support service area
Manage and prioritise incidents and service requests and provide subject matter expertise for the team and customers
Provide technical knowledge to enable resolution of incidents on applications
Ensure incidents and requests are dealt with in a timely manner and SLAs are met
Understanding technical areas such as: Infrastructure/Servers, Databases (MS SQL Server) Windows operating system
Undertake Root Cause Analyses to identify any inefficiencies or improvements within the application
As subject matter expert, maintain up-to-date knowledge of applications and working practices to ensure queries are dealt with appropriately, to ensure excellence in service delivery
Adhere to IT best practice (including ITIL) and IT security policy and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
Cultivate relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent cross business communications
Responsible for responding to technical problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions or workarounds
Providing technical support to teams within the organisation, and to support external clients when required
Assisting with systems integrations and configurations
Provide input to the knowledge base to help improve the service provided and address any single points of failure
Any ad-hoq duties that may be requested by your manager
ABOUT YOU
Working with a ticket management system
Extensive SQL knowledge including SQL Script
Working knowledge of Microsoft Servers 2008-2019
Knowledge on software application
Identify and resolving technical issues
Working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under pressure

Coach, mentor and support Application Support Analysts.

Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBA

Restore Digital support customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. And usually, we are busy digitising most of the exam papers undertake in the UK every year.
