About Your Opportunity:

Work on large and complex programmes with wide ranging technologies that tackle some of the biggest national security challenges.

Our involvement with all engineering disciplines throughout the SDLC, places us in a unique position to support the continued sustainment and development of our sovereign defence capability.

We are looking to recruit candidates with a passion for quality, mentoring and community building, who can empower others with clear accountability and appropriate support. You will be joining highly Agile, multi-disciplinary teams working in DevOps practices and tools to deliver high-quality software. You’ll be hands-on in aiding and implementing test strategies with a strong understanding of the Modern Testing Principles with an ability to lead through, overcome and adapt to obstacles and challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

  • A strong teammate, a team leader, line manager and mentor as part of a collaborative and multi-functional work environment
  • Deliver Test capability, focused on automated solutions, to support mission critical solutions
  • Champion test automation efforts for all services including identification, design, implementation and support of ‘fit for purpose’ Automation capabilities for mission critical solutions under test
  • Identify and implement Testing solutions, specifically automated solutions, to reduce software time-to-market
  • Identify opportunities within our client’s space which may lead to future business

Your Experience:

  • Strong working experience of Agile and DevOps tools, techniques and principles
  • Proven track record for delivering Automated Integration & Test solutions in a fast-paced dynamic Engineering environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, planning and written/verbal communication skills and an aptitude to learn new technologies quickly
  • Self-motivated and able to coach/mentor/inspire others in automation best practice, focused on Quality outcomes
  • Strong understanding of the principles for, and benefits of automated testing
