Job Description
This is a target driven, office-based role, with a strong focus on customer care. We are looking for a Driven Sales Executive that is organised, has attention to detail, a positive can-do attitude, is good with numbers and has professional sales follow up skills. Working in a fast-paced environment, the sales executive is expected to regularly meet and exceed set targets. The role has good earning potential and involves:
Responsibilities
Listening to customer requirements to gain a clear understanding of their needs in order to provide a suitable quotation.
Maintain and develop strong telephony skills to build a rapport with the customer and to ultimately close the sale efficiently and in the customers’ best interest.
Gaining and maintaining strong vehicle product and market knowledge.
Liaising and influencing key external stakeholders such as dealerships, manufacturers and funders to deliver the best outcome for our customers.
Display high levels of efficiency & accuracy in all areas of the role and especially with regards to producing finance quotations and dealing with associated electronic documentation.
Creating enough time to allow for quality follow up with the customer and also with all key stakeholders.
Displaying a customer focused approach by applying the treating customer fairly (TCF) guidelines to all parts of the role.
Balancing your own work load by ensuring that new enquiries are dealt with as well as managing ongoing enquiries.
Following the company sales processes and procedures in order to meet high quality standards and to ensure key regulations are met
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet and exceed targets. Positively set and agree goals with the General Sales Manager.
Be vocal and provide feedback within the team. We want people who have the skill to share best practices, successes and to raise issues and concerns in a constructive and positive way. We encourage people to come to us with a solution if they raise an issue that needs to be addressed.
We require team players who will encourage and support their colleagues and share best practice for the good of the wider business.
Participate in all required training and undertake regular research to stay informed within the industry. We want people who will take control of and drive their personal development.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years previous sales experience, preferably within the same industry, or history of achieving targets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and in particular, excellent telephone skills.
To demonstrate high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and efficiency.
Strong PC skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
A positive, confident and determined approach with a high degree of self-motivation and ambition.
Resilience, the ability to cope with rejection and work under pressure.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team with the capability to flourish in a competitive environment.
Excellent time-management skills – the ability to multi-task and manage your own daily workload with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines and achieve your monthly target.
A good level of numeracy and literacy.
