The Hull York Medical School (HYMS) brings together the strengths of the Universities of Hull and York in life, clinical, health and social sciences in partnership with the NHS. The Centre for Atherothrombosis and Metabolic Disease (CAM) in Hull, led by Professor Tim Palmer, performs world-leading research on the molecular and cellular mechanisms responsible for chronic diseases, and the translation of these findings into clinical benefits.

As part of our expanding postgraduate teaching provision in CAM, we are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Lecturer in Pharmacology to contribute to the development and delivery of our growing portfolio of MSc programmes. The successful applicant will have the biomedical knowledge, desire and aptitude to contribute to the development of innovative new teaching in Pharmacology and related disciplines, and will also be willing and enthusiastic in developing their teaching skills. While this is a teaching-focused post, the postholder will have the opportunity to supervise students undertaking research projects and participate in CAM research activities.
