Adecco have an exciting role just in and are recruiting for an IT Field Engineer to cover Scotland

In the IT Field Engineer role you will works on the customer sites around Scotland, supporting AV solutions, testing them, fixing them as necessary and demonstrating them to the customers. You would normally work on your own, teaming up with colleagues sometimes for specific jobs.

The work ranges straightforward swaps of components that have been diagnosed as faulty, to investigating the causes of problems on site with the users, or supporting users with using technology at events, or simply testing that everything is still functioning in preventative maintenance visits.

The kinds of installations that our client supports includes, large format screens or projectors, video cameras, microphones and speakers, printers, PC’s chip and pin readers, Android scanners, Wifi and network solutions and even interactive games in visitor attractions.

Our client is looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a great solution to there clients and who is flexible enough to deal with different challenges on site that may be faced.

You will need the following;

  • Driving license to enable you to drive vans to sites
  • Practical skills and experience to work on in trade sites
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, AV and IT technical skills
  • Presentable and articulate to work with end-users to solve their problems
