The Role Palantir is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join our Compliance function within the Legal Team in the UK. Our teams mission is to proactively provide compliance advice to the business, in an effort to support Palantirs responsible business growth. In this role, youll be supporting teams across the business as they navigate various regulatory requirements. You will play an integral part in strategically developing our compliance program in a constantly shifting landscape, so that Palantir achieves its goals. Delivering complex information using strong communication and interpersonal skills will aid you in achieving team wins. You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex, time-sensitive projects. Our ideal candidate enjoys being innovative when solving problems, whilst drawing on strong analytical reasoning to recommend appropriate solutions. Although this role is focused on international regulatory compliance and ethics, you should have a flexible altitude to assist with the changing needs of the business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with business functions based on high level confidence, and act as a key touchpoint for legal compliance queries by anwersing questions as well as providing information and advice.
  • Support the development, continuous maintenance and delivery of the compliance program.
  • Provide training to employees, and senior managers regarding the Code of Conduct and other company policies.
  • Evaluate and advise on legal and regulatory risks, conflicts and general compliance issues.
  • Facilitate the development of international policies and processes to ensure that Palantir is complying with applicable regulatory laws in the UK, Europe and other geographies.
  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with international regulators as a means of enhancing Palantirs compliance program.
  • Build, lead and deliver key compliance projects.
  • What We Value

  • Attorney in good standing licensed in the United Kingdom.
  • 5+ years of providing regulatory advice at a law firm or in-house.
  • Excellent strategic legal thinking, with the ability to balance regulatory requirements and business risk.
  • Experience providing advice to clients on international regulations.
  • Experience monitoring international regulatory trends, as a means to identify risk and determine appropriate mitigating action plans.
  • Strong communication, analytical and written skills.
