The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Director to join our team here at Marple Vets, Stockport!
You will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy practice. This will include clinical duties working alongside fellow vets, but also administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the practice. A full-time role would require 40 hours to be worked through the week, but there is flexibility to consider part-time work as an alternative, over a minimum of 3 days. There is no out of hours work, but the role would involve working 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

About Us

At Marple vets, we pride ourselves on client satisfaction and provide our clients with the highest standard of customer care. Marple is a very friendly town with a variety of local shops and a large supermarket, the Peak Forest Canal is on the outskirts of the town which is located only 20 minutes away from vibrant Manchester in one direction and the beautiful Peak District in the other, with excellent transport links by road and rail

About the Team and Culture

We have a team of 5 vets, 5 qualified nurses, 2 student nurses and 5 support staff including a Practice Manager. Two of our veterinary surgeons hold advanced qualifications and we encourage all our staff to develop their skills. We often like to take part in team events such as The Manchester 10k to raise money for animal charities but also we consider team cake tasting to be as equally important to how we function.
