Working for our organisation

In joining the Chaplaincy Team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust you will be joining a diverse and highly experienced group of individuals from a range of religious backgrounds. Our work ethic is to provide an excellent service for all patients and staff in need of our support whether from faith or non faith backgrounds. On the initial contact we aim to quickly assess those needs and assign the most appropriate member of the team to them. In some cases it may be more appropriate to bring in someone from outside the team with whom we have contact. As a team we work for each other, and it is really important on joining us that you appreciate the need for a very flexible approach to working arrangements to ensure the needs of our patients and staff are met at all times.

We operate out of offices at James Cook University Hospital and the Friarage, Northallerton, both of which have adjacent chapels which are open all the time.

Working for the Chaplaincy Team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is challenging but extremely rewarding and a huge privilege as we encounter the very personal needs of those we serve.
