Procurement Coordinator Job Vacancy in Hemel Hempstead, England, UK

Key Accountability’s:
Liaising with suppliers to communicate their requirements & to find out when required products are available
Booking in deliveries with the warehouse team & updating their system with the information
Working with transport to organise internal stock transfers to move products within their warehouse network
Identifying potential product shortages & communicating them to colleagues with a solution
Supporting colleagues with the purchasing of certain products such as appliances, kitchen furniture, consumables, janitorial supplies & uniform
Investigating and reporting on warehouse shortages such that they rectify at source
Creating and updating stock records, also price queries alongside the respective finance department
Provide a query response service from the departments email inbox & phone system to internal colleagues & suppliers
Specification:
Strong organisational skills to handle a variety of tasks & ensure important information is kept up to date for others to benefit from
Excellent attention to detail to accurately review documents such as price lists, analyse the information, identify changes & process as required
Comfortable communicating clearly with people in a variety of methods such as telephone, video call & email knowing when to use each method
A keen problem solver that gets enjoyment from finding solutions to problems as & when they arise
You need to have a good knowledge of IT Programs such as Excel, Outlook & Word & possess a natural ability to quickly pick up new systems and processes
Self motivated with commercial awareness & the ability to persuade to get the best possible outcome in each situation
Professional training or qualifications in procurement would be beneficial
