Responsibilities

  • The role will actively be responsible for identifying code weaknesses and potential vulnerabilities and acting to ensure the right action is taken to remove the threat and ensure a robust level of code stability and security ahead of promotion to production.
  • The role will also focus on implementation and management of all aspects of application data encryption covering both at rest and inflight requirements. Data is exchanged in an internal and external capacity broadening the responsibility to cover client interactions
  • A solid oversight and governance approach is required with solid MI produced identifying any areas of concern and weaknesses aimed at ensuing senior management are kept abreast of the threat landscape and actions being taken to remove or mitigate any risk to the bank
  • The role will be based in London with interactions taking place across multiple different locations on a global scale.
  • Skills & Experience Required Essential

  • IT Security accreditation for Application Security and Encryption (e.g. ISO27001)
  • Experience of implementing application security governance
  • In depth knowledge of encryption standards and implementation
  • Experience of performing governance and oversight within Application Security
  • Understanding of Application security & encryption standards
  • Preferred

  • Extensive experience in the IT Security field preferably working in a financial organisation
  • Experience of working with global teams and application owners
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Experience of working to tight timelines and targets with global visibility
