Senior Manager – Tech Strategy

The Role

  • Building global relationships and actively seeking out the most appropriate SMEs to address client needs
  • Communicating compelling and well thought out solutions to complex problems
  • Building constructive working relationships across different teams, functions, countries or cultures
  •  

    You will work with KPMG colleagues, client teams and directly with C Level client resources to:

  • Provide credible advice to clients on how to operate IT in the most effective manner, including commercial structure and cost control
  • Develop IT strategies collaboratively with client teams
  • Lead client engagements end to end
  • Design IT operating models that address client challenges
  •  

    You will work within the Tech Strategy capability group and with the wider KPMG firm to:

  • Identify emerging trends in the market and develop products and services that KPMG can leverage within our client base
  • Champion the use of our global tools e.g. SOURCE
  • You will lead engagement teams to deliver high quality products and outcomes to our clients and identify further opportunities to support them for the wider KPMG firm
  •

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Current experience in at least 2 of the below:Developing IT strategies in complex environments, with a focus on leveraging cloud and other emerging technologiesIT Operating model design across several organisationsIT Cost optimisationAgile delivery methodologies, particularly at scale in large organisations 
  • Be self-sufficient, with proven leadership experience delivering large technology programmes/projects
  • Tenacious, passionate and thorough in approach and style; able to adjust communication styles from C level to junior level
  •  

     

    Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Consulting experience with large organisations and complex technology transformations
  • A passion for emerging technology and driving business value
  • Experience working with Corporate clients.
