The Job

Support Integration Engineer – ILS – 12 month contract – Warton, Preston – £42.14ph UMB or £31.60ph PAYE + £4.59ph accrued in holiday credit (Inside IR35)

Role description:

Our client is looking for a Support Integration/ILS Engineer to support the technical management of UK Typhoon programmes to meet customer requirements. The role will report to the Senior Support Integration Engineer who is the primary technical interface with the Contract Teams and UK Support community. The scope of the role covers:

  • Major capability programmes,
  • Standalone changes,
  • Support solution improvements.

    • Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Managing stakeholder interfaces
  • Capturing & managing solution requirements
  • Management & coordination of programme delivery
  • Integrating all Support engineering and technical activities across projects
  • Coordinating Technical Reviews
  • Supporting change management activities

    • The individual:

    This role offer the opportunity to work with the UK Typhoon Customer and requires an ability to communicate, influence and direct technical discussions, decision making and document outcomes.

  • Essential knowledge and understanding of Aircraft ILS
  • Desirable knowledge and understanding of Eurofighter Typhoon, Royal Air Force Support and ability to navigate around trilogiView, TeamCenter PLM.

  • Security requirements: SC + ITAR

    • This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a Criminal Record Check and you must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct access to ITAR Material, therefore we can only consider UK Nationals for this position.     The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
