This company based in Redditch is hiring due to expansion and would like you to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Materials and Production Planning of customer’s orders to ensure OTIF delivery.
  • Management of a small Procurement and Material planning team and ensure that they understand requirements and lead times for materials, components and subcontract services.
  • Manage and maintain a variety of spreadsheets and BOM’s.
  • You will extensively use the MRP/ERP system for the Master Production Schedule.
  • Manage the inventory for your product area and escalate any issues.
  • Expediting material to the shop floor.

    • Experience and skills required

  • Previous experience as a Production/Material Planning Supervisor or manager within a manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough understanding of ERP/MRP systems and how to get the best out of them.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Project, Excel and Outlook.

    • The business is looking to have the right person in this role as soon as possible.
