A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Clinical Systems Trainer to join our training team within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. Delivering training and digital learning on clinical systems, other work-based applications, and general IT skills.
We are a well-established team responsible for delivering an IT training service across the whole organization. This is delivered via virtual face to face classroom sessions and in-house e-Learning. Existing knowledge of Articulate Storyline is an advantage, as is a good knowledge of MS Office applications. We will also be involved in training for new clinical systems, including:- EPMA – Electronic Prescribing & Medicines Administration, EMIS and ICE to assist with clinical system improvement projects. An existing knowledge of these systems is an advantage.
This is a full-time 12 month fixed term post within the Electronic Health Records team.
Working for our organisation
We are a well-established team responsible for delivering an IT training service across the whole organization. This is delivered both face to face and through in-house e-Learning (existing knowledge of Articulate Storyline is an advantage, as is a good knowledge of MS Office applications). We also deliver training in IT skills and MS Office and assist with clinical system improvement projects.
The training is normally delivered, face to face, from training rooms across Oxfordshire, but is being conducted with Teams in the current situation, with remote sessions covered by e-Learning.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To deliver a range of IM&T training to stakeholders within Oxford Health teams to ensure that all healthcare. professions are able to correctly utilise and effectively operate IT systems to include clinical systems.
To also act in an advisory capacity to the Trusts Electronic Health Record Team on training related issues. This will include targeting specific training at key staff groups to enable smarter working with existing application packages.
To support clinical and Electronic Health Record teams in the successful delivery of developmental projects.
To ensure that training delivered reflects standards of compliance required for data protection and quality, and system security policies, procedures and guidelines.
The post holder should own a car or have access to alternative travel for business use.
This is a full-time 12-month fixed term post within the Electronic Health Records team.
