My client is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join their extremely talented Customer Tribe design team. You’ll immerse yourself in our business and work collaboratively with your team to deliver innovative products, applications, and software.
Having worked in the digital industry for at least 5 years you’ll have developed expert UX, UI and research skills, and have a rich diversity of experiences to call upon. You’ll have a passion for creating, the most engaging, enjoyable, optimal user experience for our customers, whilst ensuring consistency, ease of use and encourage Safer Gambling.

You’ll create better customer experiences:

You’ll understand future trends and best-in-class experiences, working with Product Mangers to interpret those into a vision for their products that shapes an innovative customer experience
You’ll lead stakeholders to build a shared understanding of the problem space
You’ll apply your highly refined design skills (across UX and UI) to create digital experiences that are simple, engaging, ‘on brand’, achieve business goals and meet user needs
You’ll seek to gather analytics, research, and other insights to help drive your design decision making where possible from multiple sources from across the business
You’ll be comfortable running design workshops to help explore, develop and prioritise potential product ideas
You’ll work at pace and utilise your knowledge of UX principles and lean methodologies to deliver sketches, wire frames, low-FI designs and rapid prototypes to effectively communicate your solutions to users and the business
You’ll be able to produce working prototypes of your design solutions that can be harnessed for testing purposes
You’ll deliver final high-fidelity design concepts and work with and consult with development teams during build phases
You’ll play a key role as senior designer on medium/large scale projects. You’ll be a strong collaborator with your design team and across the squads.
You’ll be a senior member of the Customer Design team and will play an active role in design meetings and work share.
You will provide hand on design support within the team which supports all the Front End squads in the customer tribe as a central resource.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

Harnessing your communication and collaboration skills and experience you’ll work closely with your fellow Product Designers, Product Managers. Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders across multi-disciplinary agile teams with a focus on all touch points to help define and deliver best-in-class digital products.
You’ll seek to gather data, analytics, research, and other insights to help drive your design decision making where possible from multiple sources across the business. Whilst helping the small teams (squads) you work with to make better decisions by contributing to gathering/analysing qualitative and quantitative data.
You’ll be a confident and articulate communicator and contribute to regular innovation workshops, product reviews, and design sprints as well as providing feedback to your fellow Design team members on their project work
You’ll have a natural passion for all things Product Design and UX, and a desire to create the most engaging and optimal user experiences for their customers.
You’ll validate your design outputs and key user journeys, by planning, facilitating usability sessions, collecting, and analysing user data and communicating learnings to key stakeholders along with other research and insight gathering methodologies
Having experience of other research methodologies would be a huge advantage – such as tree testing, card sorts, surveys, diary studies etc.

Software knowledge:

You will have a working knowledge of the industry standard Digital Design software including Figma and Miro
A knowledge of software such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop and UserZoom would be an advantage
A knowledge of working with Component libraries and Design systems would be an advantage
