Job Title: Typescript Node Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £90,000pa plus benefits
Location: Bedfordshire/London
Who will you be working for?
We are working with a fintech start up that has been growing 10-15% weekly since their launch! Their rapid growth and domination of the market means they are growing their engineer teams and would love to find collaborative and communicative developers to join as soon as possible. The role is largely remote with occasional meetings in Milton Keynes.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate that can work within a team of about 4-5 other developers to design architecture and build features for mobile and web application. Features will require updates across the backend technical stack- APIs (express), database updates (Postgres), data management (caching in Redis), architecture updates (services, events) and decent test coverage (e2e & unit). You should have strong communication skills and be a critical thinker.
Responsibilities/skills –
- NodeJS + Typescript
- SQL (Postgres or similar, such as MySQL)
- Redis (Or other data caching tooling)
- Git flow (Feature branches, tags, with CI/CD)
- Experience working with payment providers at scale (Stripe, Braintree, etc..)
- Experience working with modern Point of Sale (POS) applications.
- Test driven development. End to end (e2e) and unit testing in NodeJs/Typescript.
- Mocking external services.
