Assistant School Medical Officer
Salary Grade: Scale 5 Points 12 – 17
Salary Range: £22,571 – £24,920 Pro Rata Actual starting salary – £19,
37 hours per week term time only
8. Monday-Thursday & 8. Friday
Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Assistant School Medical Officer with a passion for care to support in our already established Medical Room.
The Medical Room is a busy and productive area of the school. It requires someone with the flexibility to deal with first aid requirements, liaise with the wider healthcare community and supervise routine preventative programmes targeted at children whilst also supporting the lead Medical Officer in their role.
This is a position for a fully trained first aider. If you do not already have this qualification, full training will be provided.
