The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including fast-track access to X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound. The hospital specialises a range of clinical disciplines, including orthopaedics. The physio team at this hospital focus on; Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement, Knee Arthroscopies, Osteotomy surgery, Shoulder Surgery (Rotator Cuff Repair, Stabilisation, Arthrolysis), Spinal surgery, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Hand procedures. This role would consist of working within a small team and would suit a physiotherapist who is ready for a challenge to hit the ground running!

About the role:

You will be working as a Physiotherapist within our inpatient team and will be responsible for:

  • Delivering the highest quality of care to patients, focusing on customer service resulting in a safe and effective discharge
  • Being Enthusiastic and empathetic working well as part of a supportive team and individually
  • Liaising, assessing and advising patient and colleagues with the best clinical skilled reasoning
  • Analysing each inpatient situation with a range of face to face elective orthopaedic treatments
  • To be able to fit and teach patients the use of specific walking aids, braces and boots required post-operatively, as well as treat acute injuries
  • Effective verbal and written commination with patients and colleagues, with ability to stay organised, and show time management skills

Who we’re looking for;

  • Be HCPC and CPS registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Inpatient physiotherapy treating orthopaedic patients
  • Experience in clinical hospital settings is desirable
  • At least 2 years post graduate experience (relevant experience)
