Due to continued success of the business, we are looking to strengthen our existing planning and logistics team with the appointment of a Planning Assistant.

Location: Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire

The position is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the design, production and manufacture of event signs and project equipment and to ensure all other resources are organised and prepared for delivery.

This individual will liaise with the planning management team on a regular basis to ensure all deadlines and requests are outlined and further responsibilities as directed by Management are carried out to the best of their ability, with the utmost diligence, always.

Core Duties

Planning

  • Create, design and produce sign schedules from the Traffic Management Plan.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to understand the whole project and all the requirements, ensuring the project is prepped, planned and carried out to the highest possible standard.
  • Liaise with Planning & Logistic Manager to ensure project equipment is delivered on time

Production

  • Assist with the printing of event signs and ensure all printing equipment is used correctly and is kept clean.
  • Assist with the production and manufacture of event signs.
  • Assist with the production and manufacture of project equipment.

General

  • Undertake other general tasks as required.
  • You will be required at times or on an ongoing basis to contribute to other projects within the ‘Combined Events Business’ or Group.

Annually you will review all systems relevant to your role in conjunction with operational teams and others who are impacted by your processes and procedures. Propose improvements and developments that will assist in more efficient and effective delivery of our services.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Essential – Full UK Driving Licence.
