Role Purpose

To support the Reward lead in delivering cyclical and non-cyclical reward processes, standards, and initiatives through review, analysis, proposals. The role will include the coordination of annual reward processes such as salary review and bonus process, day to day HR queries, data analysis and support in other reward related projects, policies, processes, and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

The purpose of this role is to ensure effective delivery of reward projects and annual reward processes. Analyses data and provides clearly articulated insights that drive better decisions on rewarding people.

  • Assists with the coordination of cyclical reward processes such as bonus and salary review
  • Provides project support as needed – E.g., Undertakes market-wide analysis to test affordability and impact
  • Reporting on people data and preparing presentations pulling out key findings and insights
  • Proactively engages the local HR community in reward practices and projects; Supports in reviewing roles and individual reward packages
  • Undertakes external and internal salary benchmarking & job evaluation using the company’s preferred survey providers and evaluation method.

Professional skills

  • Numeracy and analytics
  • A sense of curiosity with a desire for an opportunity to be challenged
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excel (e.g., look ups, pivot tables, if functions)
  • Access would be an advantage
  • HR Information Systems would be an advantage
  • Salary survey & job evaluation methods – [would be an advantage – ideally Willis Towers Watson]

Key Experiences

  • A graduate – up to 2 years of related HR/reward/finance experience (e.g., entry level roles after graduating and relevant job experience in an analytical environment)
