The Women and Children Directorate of Hywel Dda University Health Board has an exciting opportunity for Health Care Support Workers to join our Acute Paediatric Nursing Service.

Main duties of the job

We are currently recruiting for Band 2 Health Care Support Workers across the children’s unit in Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen.

The post holder will be required to work between the inpatient unit and the ambulatory care unit. The role incorporates delivery of direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

There are full or part time hours available. Flexibility with regard to working hours is essential as the post involves day/ night rotation.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post: English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
