The Role

Here at Swayne and Partners, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or 2nd Year Student Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. The role will include ward and theatre duties, nursing days, taking care of intensive care patients, and much more.
This is a great opportunity to be joining our awesome team of nurses who are proud to be offering an exceptional level of care to our inpatients.

The routine hours will be 40 per week working 8.5 hours a day Monday-Friday. The weekend shifts are on a rota which is usually 1:6. There are no nights or on-call with this role.

The salary will be up to £24,000 depending on experience.

About Us

Our Bury St Edmunds surgery is open 24/7 and operates as a general practice offering an exceptional level of veterinary care for our patients as well as an out-of-hours service for local practices.

We have 10 Veterinary Surgeons and 20 FTE Registered Veterinary Nurses at the Bury St Edmunds surgery supported by a team of Ward Assistants and Receptionists. We have multiple certificate holders within the practice and often take local emergency referrals which provides an interesting and varied caseload.

Applicant Requirements

 We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or 2nd Year Student Veterinary Nurse to join the team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care to their patients and owners.
