An exciting opportunity has become available for the above role within ward 5B to provide senior nursing management and clinical leadership of the nursing team to ensure a high standard of nursing care is coordinated and delivered.

Requirements:

  • The post-holder will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Significant period of current DCN experience within an acute ward
  • A well developed knowledge across a wide range of clinical practice in medicine; patient safety measures; hospital practices/policies/procedures/ and experience of patient flow priorities are essential.
  • Knowledge/experience of nursing patients with medical conditions is essential.
  • Proven ability to expertly communicate information to all personnel, both written and verbal.
  • Skills/aptitude to lead and manage a team effectively to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and evidence of continuing professional development in line with NMC requirements.
  • Agreement from your current line manager to support secondment and release to post quickly.
  • This is a fixed term / secondment opportunity until 31 March 2023.
